:: Bohol

Bohol is just a quick 1 hr plane ride from Manila. Must sees are the Chocolate Hills, the Lomboc River, and the Tarsier. If you have a chance, go scuba diving in Panglao Island. After taking a dip, rent a scooter and have fun going around the island.  Make sure to check the PALakbayan promos of Philippine Airlines.

Site of Blood Compact

Our first stop from the airport. This was the site of the blood compact between the local leaders & the spaniards back in the 1500s

Ronnie by the mangrove forest

We were surprised to find this mangrove forest right next to the town

Richa by the mangrove forest

We like to take his & hers shots :-)

Flowing by the Lomboc River

Catch the Lomboc River ride for around P250@ - comes with lunch. The Lomboc River is the country's only ISO14000 certified river

End of the ride

Get off the raft and swim by the two small falls

The Tarsier

The world's smallest monkey. Fits in the palm of your hand.

Chocolate Hills

What Bohol is famous for. It was raining a bit when we got here

By the Chocolate Hills

Of course we had to have a picture. Time to break out the trusty tripod

Wooden Bridge

Not for the faint hearted

After the dive

Getting some sun (and lunch) after our scuba dive. If you're lucky (depending on our perspective of course), you'll get to see some sharks

Rent a scooter

We had a great time going around the island with this baby

Sunset

From our resort. Take a stroll along the beach during low tide
